Experience before you go . . .

Ok, our first brewery tour stop was at Solemn Oath in Naperville. As we've found out, some of these breweries are hidden little gems and sometimes a little hard to find. And after drinking, I mean thinking about the name, location, the "Buy your buddy a future beer" board, then last but not least came the awesome beer.

You enter into what the Solemn Oath is all about. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but as you sip away at the fabulous beer, you take the Solemn Oath to come back with a friend so they can experience it too. This taking of the "Oath" is not a literal thing where you raise your right hand and repeat after me.....but more of an internalized thing!! And the older you get I got to tell ya, the better you get at internalizing!!!

Now Solemn Oath is a true brewery tap room with no food but on certain days you can find 2-3 food trucks parked outside which is fabulous. So if you've been kidnapped by a friend who said, "I've got a great place to show you" that's great, but if you haven't its not too late. Just google maps your way to Solemn Oath in Naperville, IL and before you know it you'll be enjoying a pint of "Snaggletooth Bandana" or "Punk Rock for Rich Kids" or maybe a "Ravaged by Vikings", "Man vs. Internet" or a "Butterfly Flashmob".......obliviously you got to be 21 and yes there is a 3 beer limit and don't drink and drive!!!
