Experience before you go . . . 
Beer and The Walking Dead, what more could you ask for! The answer is not much!! This is what we came across in Boulder City, Nevada which is on the east side of Las Vegas real close to Hoover Dam. When you don't want to stay in Vegas, you stay in Boulder
City. Now there's no gambling but the people are friendly and the beer is cold...as we found out on one hot July nite! One interesting celebrity tidbit the Boulder City Theater is owned by Desi Arnaz Jr, son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball. The theater is currently home to the Boulder City Ballet Company! So if you want to get some culture, Boulder City has it!!!
 Now Beer Zombies does not have a lot of culture but that doesn't matter because Kat & I wanted a cold flavorful craft beer so we started our short walk from our hotel the Boulder Dam Hotel which I would highly recommend...location, folky, affordable and comfy! So we meandered down to the brewery, along Nevada Way which has some fun retail and bars. Boom, there it is, on the corner. Easy to see with the goulash zombie and the get your attention black and white paint! In we go, darrrrrk, eyes adjust, black walls, busy but not too, order and pay for beers on the right, keep walking and find a seat on the right or left. Place is growing on us. We find two stools and then I look left then right, I look at the ceiling, okay no Zombies in sight, time to drink my beer!! One thing I love about the Hoppin' Brewery Tour is that when it comes to breweries you just don't know what you're going to get!! Everyone is unique and it's always an adventure! So Kat's drinking on a Beer Zombies Boomstick Blonde Ale - (5.5%) light and refreshing! I take on the Beer Zombie Mania - Triple Hazy IPA (10%)...boy howdy, grapefruit forward, finish and middle, definitely an IPA connoisseur's delight that packs a punch!!
I do my brewery walk about, taking pictures and absorbing the Zombie vibe. I make my way over to the beer ordering station and start up a conversation with Vinny. Come to find out the main Beer Zombies location is in Las Vegas and Vinny had worked his way up the batch tower with about 10 years in and became a Managing Partner and opened up this Boulder City location a couple years back and is having a good go at it! Vinny was a cool guy who saw an opportunity and with hard work and long hours impressed the right people and here he is with his own place right here in Boulder City!! I always say, "The harder you work, the luckier you become"!! Way to go Vinny, don't slow down now , the world is your oyster!!!!
Kat and I had had a long day so we finished our barley pops, on the way out I bought two T-shirts, said adios to Vinny and hit the street. Vinny, you got a great place, best of luck to you and keep on keeping on!!!
Stop in and see Vinny and tell him Clyde sent'cha!!!
