It was time once again to fire up the sweet ride so Brad picked me up and we both settled in for the ride to the Two Brothers Tap House located in Warrenville, IL. Now I've got two older brothers and I think it would be way cool if we would have opened up a brewery together!! But based on personalities and age differences, I'm not sure how ours would have worked out. But you've got to give these Two Brothers up in Warrenville credit!! They jumped in together back in 1996 and as their website says, "you can buy our beer, you can't buy our brewery".........you got to love it!!!! Rough, tough standing up for each other bros!!!!

Now the Tap House is a little tough to find and the logo on the front door is the only sign saying "here we are". Now like I mentioned a couple tours ago that a lot of these brewery are located in kind of out of the way places. Just like the unique names of all these craft beers every brewery is a little gem in and of itself. That's why this tour is so much fun because of all the different locations, beers and people........life is good!!! Good thing Brad had been here before and knew what he was doing so we were good, but still the look on my face indicates "how the heck did we get here." Or my favorite in the direction category is "you can't get there from here, you have to go somewhere else first!" Well anyhow we got here now let us in the door!

Now the Two Brothers not only have it going on in Warrenville they also have the historic Roundhouse in Aurora which offers a variety of venues, the Scottsdale Brewery & Tap House in beautiful Scottsdale, AZ and the brand new and I might add very chic The Craftsman in Naperville. It's obvious, they have perfected the craft beer which you can buy anywhere and they are in the process of building an empire of diverse Brew Pubs in which to enjoy their brews. And enjoy the brews we did!!!

I went with what brought me here....the Two Brothers Wobble IPA (6.3%) and Brad started out with the Two Brothers Revelry Imperial Red Ale (9.6%) and to go along with these brews we ordered the Chimichurri Nachos which were great. We had a very nice time at the Two Brothers Tap House. Good brews, good food and a good bartender.....like I said, "life is good!"

Until next time and remember......

Go get'cha one!!!!
